The first thing I do every morning when I wake up is check out SK Hynix's situation. Mainly because the premium is still super high right now, and I’ve seen some info about funds pulling out of the Korean stock market. Personally, I think the premium on Hynix ADR and SK Hynix is still way too high, so as long as the timing is right, I’ll short it. I’ve directly set $168. My plan for this trade is to at least hold it until the U.S. stock market opens tonight. For one, CME pre-market U.S. stocks are already dropping, mainly due to the worsening situation between the U.S. and Iran. Secondly, I’ve noticed that some funds have already started pulling out ahead of NVIDIA’s earnings report on the 27th. So my first thought is SK drops, and the probability of ADR following suit is pretty high. My second thought is that the premium between ADR and SK is too high, so when the price drops, it’s easy to crush the premium. This mindset has basically become muscle memory now. Every morning, the first thing I do is check SK’s price and think about whether I should open a short position @Gate Crypto, U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFDs, prediction markets—all-in-one trading platform.
