Looking at the daily chart, it’s clear that this wave of growth has already reached the top of the first phase, and now it needs some adjustment.
Chasing at this level doesn’t have great cost-effectiveness. At most, you can play some local short-term moves. Although this surge has been fierce, it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s strong momentum to follow.
I’ve mentioned before, with this kind of price surge, the first phase is the most aggressive, leaving no chance for hesitant people to get in at the low. Once too many people start chasing high, the necessary adjustments won’t be spared.
Most likely, what follows will be some consolidation at the high level, maybe another small price push, and then adjustments will come. For those who missed the bottom, this adjustment could be a chance to get in.
To be honest, even though this surge was intense and I missed out, I don’t feel that urgent impulse to jump in anymore. Maybe I’ve become numb, maybe I’ve gotten used to it, or maybe I’ve been burned too many times. I just want to focus on the trends I can actually understand.
This surge did exceed my expectations, but it doesn’t mean there won’t be a chance for another big drop later. The market always surprises us—when everyone thinks it’s going to drop, it doesn’t; when most people believe the bull market is back, that’s when a major correction might hit.
I’ll say it again: don’t rush, be patient and wait…
