[China, UK, and Japan Reduced U.S. Treasury Holdings in June]
BlockBeats News, August 18: According to data from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the holdings of U.S. Treasury bonds by the UK, Japan, and China all declined in June compared to May. Specifically, Japan held $1.117 trillion in U.S. Treasuries, a decrease of $26.4 billion from May; the UK held $939.9 billion, a month-on-month decrease of $8.7 billion; and China held $633.4 billion, a month-on-month decrease of $26 billion.
