**[Bitfinex: Bitcoin Trapped in Low Volatility Compression, Market Exhibits "Late Bear Market" Characteristics]**
According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on August 17, Bitfinex's latest report highlighted that Bitcoin has recently been oscillating within a narrow range, with volatility, trading activity, and market liquidity compressed to levels resembling the late stages of a bear market. Currently, Bitcoin's price remains above the "realized price median" of $63,200, while the key level for short-term holders (STH) to achieve overall profitability is at $67,176.
At the same time, market demand is weakening: U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net outflow of approximately $385 million last week, corporate Bitcoin reserve-related activities have turned negative, spot trading volume has fallen to multi-year lows, and Bitcoin transaction speeds have dropped to their lowest level in seven years.
The core issue in the current market has shifted from "whether monetary policy improves" to "whether liquidity improvement can translate into capital inflows for crypto assets." If Bitcoin spot ETFs resume sustained net inflows in the future, coupled with an expansion in stablecoin supply, it would signal the reactivation of the crypto market's liquidity transmission mechanism and could serve as a key catalyst for BTC to break out of its prolonged low-volatility state.
