[Report: Total Stablecoin Market Cap Drops to Approximately $308.3 Billion in July, Net Outflows for Three Consecutive Months] BlockBeats news, August 17, CryptoRank Research released a report stating that the total stablecoin market cap in July was approximately $308.3 billion, down about 1% compared to June. It has remained within the $300 billion to $320 billion range for 10 consecutive months. From May to July, cumulative net outflows amounted to approximately $13.3 billion, marking the longest period of stablecoin net outflows since 2022-2023. The usage of USDT and USDC has further diverged. In July, the number of USDT on-chain transactions hit a record high of 861.4 million, a month-on-month increase of 11.4%, while USDC transactions dropped to 656.7 million. In terms of on-chain transfer volume, USDC led with approximately $3.6 trillion, surpassing USDT's $1.4 trillion by about 2.6 times. Stablecoin payment applications continued to grow, with stablecoin payment card recharge amounts exceeding $1 billion for the first time in July, reaching approximately $1.084 billion, a month-on-month increase of 15.9%. Among these, USDC recharge amounts grew by 46% month-on-month, significantly higher than USDT's 7%.
