It's not about my influence.
This 6% spike on SanDisk was just me accidentally hitting the nuke button.
In reality, SNDK's previous high already had a lot of stop-loss orders stacked there. Plenty of million-dollar and multi-million-dollar positions had their stop-loss set at 1700.
When I closed my position, the big funds using copy-trading tools outside started closing too. Closing past 1700 triggered the real big money in the market to hit their stop-loss lines and close as well. Then, as it went higher, high-leverage positions started liquidating at market price, pushing it up further. That’s how you get a 6% spike in one go.
So it just happened to be at a critical price point, and since I was the only one operating at that moment, it turned into this situation.
This copy-trading account probably won’t be able to open any significant positions in the future. It’ll just be 1x or 2x leverage for fun—don’t expect any big swings. If I go in with 5x leverage, the outside market will jump in with 10x or 20x, and that’s not a good look.
