Many people are saying CZ's wallet burned MarsCoin and Binance Life, but I saw some groups mentioning it was attacked. If it really burned, then it saved $4MEME. If it was attacked, then a lot of wallets are out of luck. Here's the info I came across: After investigation by the technical team, the main reason for the incident involving CZ's address being triggered was that attackers exploited a vulnerability in FOMO Relay's target address verification. By making small, legitimate purchases and sending tokens to tracked wallets, they created the illusion that the wallet was actively buying. At the same time, the affected accounts did not set a minimum market cap or minimum trigger amount, and some accounts even disabled price impact protection. This allowed any low-market-cap tokens and tiny transactions to trigger copy trading. Users didn’t lose money at the moment of purchase; the main losses occurred seconds later when attackers dumped the tokens en masse. DraGun did not initiate or create these transactions, but the old identification mechanism failed to recognize this specific FOMO trading path. We have now added multi-layer verification for initiators, payers, relays, and recipients. Transactions that only receive tokens without actively initiating them will no longer trigger copy trading. Considering the FOMO Relay vulnerability, user security settings, and DraGun's identification mechanism, the team is willing to provide compensation for 50% of the actual net losses.
