Grayscale's Head of Research, Zach Pandl, mentioned that both the Ethereum and Solana communities are discussing adjustments to their token issuance mechanisms to reduce staking rewards and future supply growth rates. If the related proposals are approved and implemented, Grayscale estimates that by the end of 2031, ETH's annual supply growth rate will drop to about 0.4%, and SOL's will drop to about 1.1%, both lower than gold's annual supply growth rate of approximately 1.8%. Pandl believes that, all else being equal, slower supply growth could potentially support token prices, but staking rewards for participants would also decrease accordingly. Currently, these adjustments are still in the discussion phase and have not been approved or implemented. https://(wublock123.com)/news/grayscale-reduces-ethereum-solana-token-supply-66577
