Self custody was always likely to be a niche enterprise especially with such poor UX and that is a big reason (tho not the largest) why I've thought Bitcoin will struggle to gain traction as a medium of exchange. However it is possible self custody gains some marginal popularity as the authorities drive us deeper into an increasingly dilutive, draconian, capital-controlled, fiat panopticon hellhole in the years ahead.(𝐓𝐗𝐌𝐂)
