According to the *Financial Times*, insiders revealed that JPMorgan terminated its banking relationship with prediction market Polymarket in October 2025 due to regulatory concerns and asked them to find a new banking partner. Polymarket has since switched to another bank. However, the two parties still maintain other business ties—JPMorgan invited Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan to attend its private banking client meeting this February and expressed interest in underwriting Polymarket’s potential IPO in the future. Polymarket stated that it continues to maintain close and active relationships with JPMorgan through multiple entities, operational integrations, and client fund flow management. Additionally, Polymarket is seeking to raise over $1 billion at a $20 billion valuation, doubling its financing valuation from approximately $8 billion in 2025.
