[BitGo CFO to Step Down, Q2 Net Loss Reaches $19 Million]
According to The Defiant, digital asset infrastructure company BitGo has disclosed that Chief Financial Officer Edward Reginelli will resign on September 15. Meanwhile, the company reported a Q2 net loss of $19 million, shifting from a profit to a loss year-over-year (compared to a net profit of $38.3 million in the same period last year), despite a 79.6% revenue increase to $4.33 billion. Adjusted EBITDA also shifted from a $3 million profit in the same period last year to a $4.2 million loss. Reginelli's resignation is not due to disagreements related to the company's operations, policies, or practices. BitGo has begun the search for a successor, and Reginelli will continue to serve as an advisor after his departure.
