According to Bloomberg, the SEC plans to advance two crypto asset regulatory initiatives in the coming days. This includes holding a public meeting this Friday to discuss creating a customized issuance framework for investment contracts involving certain crypto assets, as well as unveiling an 'innovation exemption' proposal for tokenized securities trading. Insiders say the latter could be announced as early as Friday, potentially paving the way for 24/7 on-chain trading of stock tokens. The latest proposal may allow listed companies to oppose third parties tokenizing their stocks and could require related trading platforms to be U.S.-based entities with strengthened anti-money laundering measures. The SEC originally planned to announce this exemption in May but delayed it after consulting with stock exchanges, listed companies, and other market participants. Meanwhile, the Clarity Act faced delays due to partisan disputes over ethical restrictions on public officials engaging in crypto-related activities. Senate Majority Leader John Thune has filed a cloture motion to prepare for a procedural vote in mid-September. https://(wublock123.com)/news/sec-to-unveil-tokenized-securities-innovation-exemption-this-friday-customized-crypto-investment-contracts-66336
