Global stock markets hit a new record! The MSCI All Country World Index (ACWI) saw stock markets in 28 countries reach 52-week highs, the highest number since February this year. This figure has more than tripled compared to April. During the same period, the MSCI ACWI has surged 20%, hitting an all-time high. The index has also stayed above its 80-week moving average for 16 consecutive months, highlighting the strong momentum of global stock markets. What’s more, out of the 70 countries covered by the index, not a single one hit a 52-week low. For comparison, back in January this year, 47 countries hit 52-week highs, marking a historical peak.
