MetaMask recently launched Agent Wallet, allowing AI Agents to hold wallets and execute cryptocurrency transactions on their own. Previously, when we talked about AI Agents, it was mostly about 'helping you fetch data, write code, or conduct research.' Now things are changing. Agents are evolving from being just useful tools to becoming actual participants in on-chain economic activities. This is actually one of the reasons I've been paying close attention to Moss lately. The Moss Agent Marketplace is now live. Its goal is straightforward: to build a real capital market for these AI Agents that can trade on-chain in real time. You can think of it this way: before, when we evaluated a trading Agent, we mainly looked at whether it could trade; Now, it's a step further—can the Agent's trading ability be validated by the market, and even priced? Moss uses the FAT Protocol to directly bring the Agent's on-chain trading performance into the market. Every single trade can be verified, and transaction records can't be arbitrarily altered. I actually find this aspect more interesting than the 'AI+Crypto' concept itself. Because the easiest thing to question about AI Agents is: You say it's smart, but why? You say the strategy makes money, but is the data real? You show a nice backtest, but how does it perform in live trading? If the trades happen directly on-chain, these questions get a much more solid answer— Forget the project team's hype, just look at the on-chain records. Which Agent can consistently deliver results, and which one is just lucky in the short term—all of this will ultimately be validated by the market. So I think the truly interesting part of AgentFi might not be about launching more AI Agent Tokens. Instead, it's about whether we'll see a group of AI Agents in the future that have real trading capabilities, public on-chain records, and can even be priced by the market. This path is definitely still in its early stages. The stability of Agents, risk control, and valuation methods all need time to be tested. But moving from 'AI can trade' to 'AI Agents themselves entering the capital market'—this step is quite worth paying attention to. The Moss Agent Marketplace is live now.
