On August 7, the total holdings of ethereum:native spot ETFs further increased to 5,582,891.55 ETH, with a net addition of 29,736.44 ETH on the day. This marks the fourth consecutive trading day of significant net inflows. Although it’s a decrease compared to August 6’s 43,872.12 ETH, a single-day addition of nearly 30,000 ETH is still at a very high level. In comparison, the cumulative weekly net addition for ETH ETFs last week was only 812.35 ETH, which can basically be considered flat. This week, nearly 119,000 ETH were added, showing a very noticeable shift in capital intensity, with most of the inflows concentrated in the past four trading days. As of August 7, the total holdings of U.S. ETH spot ETFs reached 5,553,169.85 ETH, while the total holdings in the Hong Kong market stood at 29,721.70 ETH. Looking at the first week of August as a whole, ETH’s capital performance was significantly stronger than BTC, not only in terms of larger weekly net additions but also in the higher intensity of consecutive inflows. The most important change this week is that ETH has rapidly switched from continuous outflows at the end of July to consistent large-scale net inflows. From August 4 to August 7, a total of over 124,000 ETH were added, indicating a very clear short-term strengthening of the capital structure. @Gate Crypto, U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFDs, prediction markets—all-in-one trading platform.
