Humanoid robots are indeed an advanced form of robots, but for now, they’re pretty useless and can’t really be put to practical use.
There are plenty of robots that are actually useful right now—factory robots, food delivery robots, autonomous driving cars, medical robots, etc.—and none of them are humanoid robots.
Unitree Robotics’ humanoid robot is basically a toy, controlled via remote. All those performances before were just IPO marketing stunts.
Tesla’s humanoid robot is still a long way off. Musk should focus on creating some practical robots first and bringing them to market instead of always thinking about making humanoid robots. You’ve got to take it step by step.
