[DJI Responds to Having Been the Largest External Shareholder of Unitree Robotics Before Exiting in 2019: No Comment] BlockBeats News, August 10: Unitree Robotics officially launched its online and offline subscription today. Its offering price is ¥150.80 per share, with a total market capitalization of approximately ¥60.993 billion after issuance, and total fundraising close to ¥6.1 billion. The price-to-earnings ratio for the issuance reaches 219.23 times. Notably, this company received early investment from DJI, though DJI ultimately exited by reducing its capital. It is understood that Wang Xingxing briefly worked at DJI before starting his own business. In 2018, DJI acquired approximately 17% of Unitree Robotics' shares for ¥10.1286 million, valuing the company at around ¥60 million at the time. DJI's investment in Unitree Robotics was even registered with the industrial and commercial authorities, making DJI the largest external shareholder of Unitree Robotics. However, DJI reduced its capital in 2019 and exited Unitree Robotics' shareholder list. According to estimates, if DJI had successfully invested and directly held its shares until now, the value of its holdings could have reached several billion yuan. Regarding this news, DJI stated that it has no comment.
