The first Bitcoin quantum attack won't be on Satoshi's wallet.
Christopher Smith, CEO of Quantus Network, told Cointelegraph his real bet: Tether's minting key. Mint tokens from thin air, dump them before anyone reacts.
Scarier part: you may never know how it happened. A strong enough quantum computer can derive a private key straight from a public key exposed on chain. No breach, no malware, no trace.
Makes sense. No thief announces they have the key to your house. You just find out after the fact.
And if they've quietly cracked crypto encryption, what else could they have already broken into before anyone noticed?(Lark Davis)
