Star dislikes memes, and to some extent, I think they’re right. I’m not saying memes have no value. As a meme enthusiast myself, I’ve always believed that memes are the purest form of asset in the crypto market. They don’t try to sell you on complex technical roadmaps, they don’t paint grand visions of ecosystems three years down the line, and very few people genuinely expect them to generate cash flow. What they’re really selling boils down to just three things: Attention, consensus, and liquidity. But the problem lies exactly here. For the vast majority of memes, their fate is pretty much sealed from the day they’re born.
