Three layers of sell pressure are forming above BTC: order book sell walls, spot selling, and short contract positions. As of 10:50, there’s approximately $219M worth of sell orders stacked in the $65,120–$65,410 range, totaling 335,400 contracts. But keep in mind, order book entries can be withdrawn, so this alone doesn’t confirm a top. What’s truly concerning is that two other types of capital behavior are validating this pressure: - Kraken whales sold $6.6668M at the $65,000 level (spot); - On OKX, $40.7556M in active selling was observed in USDT-margined perpetual contracts, with an average price of $64,843. At the same time, OI (open interest) increased, indicating new short positions. These three signals have different implications: - Order book entries represent potential supply; - Spot selling reflects actual exits of holdings; - Price drops + OI increases suggest leveraged shorts are gaining marginal pricing power. Key areas to watch next: - $64,840–$65,000: Overlap of OKX short costs and spot sell pressure. If this level isn’t reclaimed, new shorts will maintain the upper hand, with the next target at $64,600–$64,500 (whale buy orders + liquidation magnet zone); - $65,120–$65,410: Core sell wall. Only if active buying volume absorbs this can the upward momentum resume, with targets at $65,500–$65,700. In short: $65,000 has become the short-term battleground for major players.
