TAO has been consolidating for almost a month now, and it’s even formed a head-and-shoulders bottom. When’s the rocket launch? If you’re constantly scanning the market, you’ll notice that many altcoins in the crypto space—whether they’re high market cap or blue-chip types—are basically moving in similar patterns. The charts look decent, but they just won’t drop significantly, nor will they pump. They’re stuck in a narrow range of consolidation. To put it bluntly, there’s just no liquidity right now. Look at the second chart—if this were two months ago, it would’ve been a perfect spot for a strong upward move. Honestly, the crypto space is still lacking a narrative, lacking that spark to ignite things. Aside from the constant chatter about the ‘Clear Act,’ there’s nothing fresh or exciting in the market. I don’t know how or when the big players will light the fire, but this kind of trashy price action on the charts usually shows up at the end of every bear market—volatility narrows, moving averages flatten out… (see chart 3). In the short term, since Bitcoin’s second wave of upward movement from 57 hasn’t fully played out yet, we can’t determine strength or weakness. Without that clarity, it’s hard to predict the next move. So for now, the strategy is still to hold positions and wait. Final thought: The longer the bear market drags on, the greater the risk of staying out of the market.
