Whale's Short Position Takes a Hit, BTC Rebound Causes Over $1.54M Loss

A whale who went all-in on leverage to short 1,600 BTC ($102M) the day before yesterday got hit hard again: after BTC rebounded to $65.3K just now, they were stopped out of another 500 BTC ($32.6M). Starting with $2.44M in capital for the short position the morning before yesterday, they’re now down to $900K, losing $1.54M. Out of the 1,600 BTC ($102M) short position, 700 BTC have been stopped out by the rebound, leaving 900 BTC ($58.66M) still in the short.
