Another top-tier Crypto tech brain has decided to dive into AI security. Sui co-founder and CTO, as well as the father of the Move language, Sam Blackshear, has officially announced his departure from Mysten Labs to join Anthropic for defensive security research. The tech baton at Sui is now handed over to @EvanWeb3, who previously led teams at Apple and Meta. Sam spent over 8 years working on the Move language, and this time, he gave a very pure tech-driven reason for his pivot: AI is completely disrupting the balance between attackers and defenders, making security research the most exciting frontier once again.
