[Is Strategy Poised to Resume BTC Accumulation? STRC Breaks $94, Surging About 30% from June Lows] BlockBeats News, August 5: According to BIT (bit.com) market data, Strategy perpetual preferred stock STRC broke $94 during U.S. trading hours, surging approximately 30% from its June low. The recent rally has been driven by factors such as Strategy selling Bitcoin to pay dividends, repurchasing $106 million worth of preferred stock, and increasing its USD reserves to $4 billion. Additionally, Strategy has not accumulated Bitcoin for six consecutive weeks. Last week, Strategy founder Michael Saylor emphasized that the company would not issue new shares of STRC while the price remains below $100. The company has repurchased 288,930 shares of STRC preferred stock, with a total transaction amount of approximately $25 million and an average repurchase price of $86.52 per share. Strategy plans to continue acting as a "consistent and disciplined buyer," maintaining repurchases when STRC is below $100, increasing buying intensity when the price is far from $100, and reducing repurchase scale as the price approaches $100. Currently, Strategy still has approximately $975 million available for preferred stock repurchases. The funds for STRC buybacks will not come from USD reserves but will instead be raised through market-driven methods such as selling MSTR stock and Bitcoin. The goal is to stabilize STRC's price around $100.
