[Source: SK Hynix's Stock Split Plan May Surface, Possibly Referencing Samsung Electronics' Stock Split Case] According to Deep Tide TechFlow on August 5, citing South Korean media outlet Daum, the market has begun to focus on whether SK Hynix will introduce shareholder return policies, including a stock split, with the possibility of a "stock split" under the backdrop of high stock prices becoming a key discussion point. Woori Bank executive Park Seok-hyun stated today that while there is "currently no clear basis" for an SK Hynix stock split, "it cannot be considered entirely impossible." Although SK Hynix's current stock face value is relatively low, sparking debate over whether there is room for another split, the continuous rise in stock prices suggests that a stock split is not entirely out of the question. Market analysts believe SK Hynix may, in the future, reference Samsung Electronics' previous case, where a stock split was implemented following a sustained rise in stock prices to lower the price per share and increase participation from individual investors. However, this speculation has not yet been officially confirmed by the company. As of now, SK Hynix has not issued any formal announcements regarding a stock split or adjustments to its dividend policy. Market speculation will need to await confirmation from the company's board of directors and official statements.
