[Michael Saylor: BIP-110 Gains Only 2.7% Block Support in Current Bitcoin Mining Difficulty Cycle] BlockBeats News, August 4 — Strategy founder Michael Saylor stated in a post that during the current Bitcoin difficulty adjustment cycle, as of block 961,022, only 38 blocks (accounting for 2.70%) have set the flag supporting BIP-110 in the version field of the block header. Its voluntary 55% threshold is impossible to achieve. At block 961,632, BIP-110 nodes will reject blocks that do not signal support. Unless major miners reverse their stance, Bitcoin will continue to operate normally, while BIP-110 will either stagnate or fork, becoming irrelevant. Its supporters should cease pushing it forward.
