DeepTech TechFlow reports, on August 3rd, according to Forbes, Siemens recently released its latest *Infrastructure Transformation Monitor Report* (ITM), which indicates that against the backdrop of rising operational costs and stricter ESG compliance requirements, digital infrastructure and AI are gradually becoming core tools for managing commercial real estate portfolios. The report reveals that 52% of commercial real estate leaders expect digital technologies to bring significant productivity improvements, while 59% of respondents anticipate AI will deeply reshape building operation models within the next three years. Key application scenarios include predictive maintenance, HVAC optimization, automated fault detection, and energy management. However, currently, only 37% of organizations have reached maturity in digital system integration, and 36% of organizations report scaling up AI and digital twin technologies. Fragmented data environments and insufficient system interconnectivity remain major bottlenecks.
The report cites a practical case from the Pennsylvania Convention Center: through digital transformation, the center reduced energy consumption by 18%, achieving approximately $686,000 in operational cost savings, and subsequently obtained LEED Gold and GBAC STAR certifications. This demonstrates the tangible impact of digital investments in reducing operational costs and enhancing the long-term value of assets.
