UBS: FOOD INFLATION TO STAY HIGHER FOR LONGER UBS expects food inflation to remain elevated, driven by climate-related supply shocks, rising labor costs, stricter livestock standards and strong demand. While advances in agricultural technology may improve efficiency, the bank says they are unlikely to significantly lower food prices.
