Recently, there’s been a lot of discussion on X about 'writing content and earning income.' Lao Ma’s payment structure is pretty clear, so naturally, people are comparing it to Binance Feed and OKX Planet.
I’m not a KOL invited by OKX Planet; but on Binance Feed, I already have the 'Verified Creator' and 'Original Star' badges, which feels like a small achievement.
When I started posting on Binance Feed, it wasn’t about earning income. It was more about having a backup plan in case X’s policies suddenly change and my account gets restricted. This way, I’d still have another platform to share my thoughts and research insights.
Of course, I had concerns. On a vertical platform primarily focused on trading users, would my data analysis content even get attention or traffic?
It’s like the saying, 'The colt crossing the river knows its depth.' Many things can only be figured out by trying them yourself and exploring step by step. After repeated attempts, I seem to have found some 'tricks.'
Take my posts in image 1 and image 2 as examples: one talks about chip distribution and only got 900+ views; the other discusses the positioning of bulls and bears and prices, and it got 30,000+ views. That really says something!
Binance Feed isn’t just another X. X feels more like an open forum where user interests are scattered; whereas Binance Feed users are more vertical, closer to trading, and more focused on the risks and opportunities reflected in the data.
In other words, no matter how you write, your content should aim to be actionable in trading, relevant, and helpful.
That’s how you get traffic!
And with traffic comes everything else: event rewards, creator income, and occasional sponsored ads (image 3 shows I’ve been selected twice for excellent articles and rewarded with 2 BNB, which I’ve kept as a treasure).
Of course, the most important thing is still personal satisfaction and a sense of achievement.
I currently have 3k+ followers on Binance Feed and 70k+ followers on X, but the traffic for individual posts isn’t that different. This shows the algorithm has already found a stable audience and is consistently delivering content to them.
The next step is to stay consistent and keep optimizing.
I hope my experience can serve as a reference for new bloggers planning to join Binance Feed. Just don’t do it solely for the income—that would be missing the point.
