They even said the facial recognition videos were saved (and labeled as low risk, highly consistent with KYC facial data). But then, in their reply on July 31, it turned into: 'As for the original biometric data used for real-time comparison, due to compliance requirements, it absolutely cannot be stored. This is equivalent to a private key that can be directly used for future real-time verification. Our platform has strict usage regulations; it's not up to Gate to decide whether to store it or not.
