Not sure if Iran will regret attacking while the U.S. was calling for a ceasefire this time. Yep, based on the current situation, it’s not out of the question for the U.S. to ramp up its strikes on Iran to force them to give up control of the Strait of Hormuz. But people are always two-sided, let alone governments. Saw the news today—on one hand, Iran says it’s prepared for the 'worst' and is even stockpiling two years’ worth of food for a prolonged war with the U.S. On the other hand, they’re also saying Iran has always been willing to talk with the U.S. and end the war. While I believe peace talks will eventually happen, it’s hard to say how long the back-and-forth will last. Next week’s key focus, in my opinion, will be seeing how 'hard' the U.S. hits them and whether the conflict stays within a relatively small scope. If it does, it shows the U.S. isn’t planning to shut the door on negotiations entirely. In the past 24 hours, I noticed the funding rates for CLUSDT and BZUSDT have flipped from negative to positive, which suggests many folks think oil prices will rise next week. Personally, I think that’s possible too, but I’ll still choose to short at the highs. As for the bitcoin:native dual-currency option expiring tomorrow, it looks like it might hit the target today. The main reason for this drop is still investors worrying that MSTR might sell off a large amount of Bitcoin. Personally, I think it’s not a big deal—what’s best for the market is for MSTR and BTC to gradually decouple. @Gate Crypto, U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFDs, prediction markets—all-in-one trading platform.
