[During Semiconductor ETF Decline, Traders Aggressively Bought the Dip, Attracting $12 Billion Before Yesterday's Rebound] BlockBeats News, July 31, Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas posted that prior to yesterday's sharp rebound in the semiconductor sector, semiconductor ETFs had already attracted approximately $12 billion in inflows. Although semiconductor ETFs account for only about 1% of the total assets under management of all ETFs, the inflows this week represent 25% of the total net inflows into ETFs. He noted that speculative traders aggressively bought the dip during the decline from Monday to Wednesday and reaped rewards again after the semiconductor sector rebounded by 7% yesterday. Compared to the historical inflow data of these ETFs, recent figures are at exceptionally high levels, with related trading activity significantly surging.
