The areas of discussion include stablecoin infrastructure, virtual asset financial system integration, and next-generation AI-based payment business, with plans to further clarify specific business models. Samsung SDS CEO Lee Jun-hee stated that the company's equity investment in Dunamu is not merely a financial investment but a strategic move to enter the digital asset infrastructure business. The two parties aim to combine Dunamu's blockchain operational expertise with Samsung SDS's capabilities in IT services, AI, cloud computing, and security to strengthen the digital financial infrastructure business. Samsung SDS's revenue in the second quarter increased by 5.9% year-on-year to KRW 3.7178 trillion, while operating profit rose by 0.7% year-on-year to KRW 231.8 billion. Among this, cloud business revenue grew by 17% year-on-year to KRW 779.4 billion, with external cloud business revenue surging by 75% year-on-year.
