Why is the Nasdaq 100 falling? Weekly RSI hit 70+ at the highs, now rolling back to 51. Classic overbought unwind. Weekly MACD just death crossed too. Both saying the same thing, the melt up got stretched. On the macro side, China spooked the memory trade. CXMT's Shanghai IPO popped 466% on debut and briefly became China's most valuable stock, dragging Micron, SanDisk, SK Hynix, and Samsung down with it on fears of cheaper Chinese supply. China is now also making the lithography machines that print microchips. Sometimes optics hurt more than reality. China isn't on the same level as ASML, at least not yet, and the market may be overreacting to a threat that's still years away. I'm seeing support at ~26,000, backed by the weekly EMA50. Whether it holds, we'll find out soon. Not financial advice.(Lark Davis)
