No wonder Korea's storage sector has been dragging down the global semiconductor market lately—Wall Street's pricing expectations were way too high!
Checked out SK Hynix's earnings report this morning, and both revenue and profit missed expectations. Wall Street probably saw this coming! SHKY
Q2 revenue came in at 79.3 trillion KRW (YoY +257%), slightly below the market expectation of 83.9 trillion KRW.
Operating profit was 60.5 trillion KRW (YoY +557%), also below the forecast.
So now that it's all priced in, does this mean the bad news is over and it's actually good news? Can it start going up now? Totally stuck!
