[BlackRock Publicly Supports the Clarity Act, Senate Legislative Window Narrows]
According to a report by Bitcoin.com News on July 28, the world's largest asset management company, BlackRock, has publicly expressed its support for the Clarity Act. Samara Cohen, BlackRock's Global Head of Markets, stated that the act is 'an important step in establishing a digital asset regulatory framework that prioritizes investors' and will help the U.S. 'shape the next era of market structure.'
Fidelity, Goldman Sachs CEO Solomon, and Charles Schwab have also recently voiced their support for the Clarity Act. Senate Majority Leader John Thune indicated that Senate work might extend beyond the August recess, as the legislative window is narrowing. Some policy analysts have already lowered the probability of the act passing this year to 30%.
