The project is led by the Samsung SDS consortium (including members such as Samsung SDS, NAVER Cloud, Samsung C&T, Kakao, Samsung Electronics, KT, etc.) with a total investment of 2.4 trillion KRW and a planned land area of approximately 49,000 square meters. The center plans to deploy 15,000 GPUs by 2028 and further expand to 50,000 GPUs by 2030, with a final power supply capacity reaching 80MW. The Gwangju Special City in Jeollanam-do anticipates that the project will generate 6.4 trillion KRW in economic benefits and create 19,500 jobs.
