[ESMA Adds 15 Crypto Service Providers to MiCA Registration List, Including BNY Mellon Subsidiary] Odaily Planet Daily News – The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) updated the provisional MiCA registration list on Friday, adding 15 licensed Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASPs), bringing the total number to 309. The newly added entities include the Belgian subsidiary of U.S. banking giant BNY Mellon, BNY SA/NV. The updated list includes four banking institutions, three of which are from Germany, as well as digital asset platforms such as BitPay, Coinify, and Bleap. Germany and Denmark each added three CASPs, while Bulgaria and Latvia each added two. Belgium, Cyprus, Liechtenstein, and the Netherlands each added one. ESMA stated that this update does not alter other MiCA-related registration lists, including those for Asset-Referenced Tokens (ARTs), Electronic Money Tokens (EMTs), and authorized crypto asset issuers, as well as the list of non-compliant entities. Previously, after the transition period ended on July 1, ESMA's second update added 14 CASPs, including Ripple Payments Europe.
