10U War God is back to trading SK Hynix again, let's talk about closing positions first. Usually, as long as I get the direction right, I'll hold until close to the market's end for the day. Unless the market continues to drop after hours, I generally won't hold overnight because no one knows what might happen the next day. If it goes up, I might not even have money for food; if it drops, I could make more, but that would fall into the category of 'gambling' for me. I only hold positions longer over the weekend because there's no trading, and it's mainly about sentiment, which reduces a lot of uncertainty. However, if I notice a rebound trend over the weekend, I'll exit immediately. This morning, I actually have to thank myself for sleeping in. When I first woke up, SK Hynix had dropped nearly 3%. At that point, I should've shorted the ADR, but I was holding my phone and hadn't placed the order yet before falling back asleep . I glanced at oil prices and felt pretty relaxed. When I woke up again, SK Hynix had already risen by 2%. My previous strategy was: if SK drops significantly, I short the ADR; if SK drops slightly or rises, I don't act. For today's situation, I decided not to act. Although the ADR might still rise tonight, the premium is already very high, and this is beyond my trading capability. So, I won't trade Hynix today. I'll look at opening a position again tomorrow morning. @Gate Crypto, US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFD, prediction markets all-in-one trading platform
