According to a report by Daily Economic News, South Korea's KB Kookmin Bank will launch an import-export settlement service in August based on JPMorgan's Kinexys blockchain network, becoming the first financial institution in South Korea to use this network for corporate cross-border payments. The service will be available through domestic branches in South Korea and the Singapore branch, initially covering 10 countries including South Korea, the United States, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, India, Thailand, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, and South Africa, with priority support for USD remittances.
