Question from the VVV telegram:
"With annual emissions still exceeding current VVV burns, what's the realistic path towards VVV becoming net deflationary?
@JonShapeShift: "...We do have a stated goal of VVV becoming a deflationary asset over time. So far I think all of our actions have marched right towards that. We've gone from at launch 14,000,000 in VVV in emissions a year to now 3,000,000 in VVV. So it's been a significant reduction."
"The burns have been coming up on the other side especially as the business grows. We're just gonna keep doing the things we've been saying that we're going to do, In order to march towards deflation, that means emissions need to come down further and that and burns have to go up higher."
"People should expect emissions to keep dropping and they should expect burns to keep growing. And at some point, burns will exceed emissions, and that's when we have a deflationary asset. We're not there yet. But I fully expect that we will get there kind of sooner than later without giving an exact timeframe."(David Hoffman)
