[Morgan Stanley: Investors currently seem enthusiastic about Intel's spending plans] According to Golden Finance, on July 24, Morgan Stanley stated that Intel has raised its total capital expenditure forecast for this year from approximately $15 billion to $20 billion, and the company expects next year's spending to significantly exceed this level. Morgan Stanley analysts estimate capital expenditures for the fiscal year 2027 to be around $30 billion. 'We expect investor enthusiasm for this spending to be entirely dependent on the long-term prospects of these investments,' they noted in a research report. Intel is set to benefit from the booming AI technology, which relies on the company's expertise in CPUs. 'The narrative in the server space does indeed support some growth,' Morgan Stanley analysts said. 'However, the profitability outlook for servers alone is at least partially dependent on maintaining a state of shortage, as adequate CPU supply could lead to some market share loss and price declines.'
