According to Greeks.live, data on options expiring on July 24 shows that 19,000 BTC options will expire today, with a Put Call Ratio of 0.89, a max pain point of $64,500, and a notional value of $1.2 billion. Analysis indicates that Bitcoin briefly surpassed $66,000 earlier this week, but faced significant resistance—$65,000 to $80,000 is a high trading volume zone from the beginning of the year, and it remains to be seen when capital will flow back into the crypto market. Meanwhile, U.S. stocks saw SpaceX continue to decline, and the storage sector experienced significant volatility.
In the options market, approximately 4% of options expire this week, with various indicators remaining nearly unchanged from last week. Overall implied volatility (IV) has fallen back to the 35% range.
