JAXA carried out a second-stage engine burn test for the Epsilon S solid rocket on the morning of the 23rd. After two failed tests in 2023 and 2024, the agency replaced the E-21 engine with a refurbished M-35a and cut the sun-synchronous orbit payload target from at least 600 kg to 400 kg. The engine burned for about two minutes and met test objectives. JAXA plans a verification launch in FY2026.(金十数据)
