[Galaxy Digital Seeks $3.5 Billion Debt Financing for Texas Data Center] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on July 23, Galaxy Digital plans to raise approximately $3.5 billion through its first junk bond issuance to fund a data center project associated with CoreWeave. This marks a further push of AI lending into the high-risk territory of the U.S. credit market. According to sources familiar with the matter, the cryptocurrency group is marketing the bond with a yield of approximately 9%. Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs are managing the issuance, which is expected to be priced on Thursday. The sources requested anonymity as they were not authorized to speak publicly.
