Sell when the market is buzzing, buy when no one cares. After BTC dropped below $60,000, many started shouting $30K, $40K. The panic made most people afraid to open positions, but looking back in 3-6 months, this area where no one cared and most were pessimistic might very well be the cyclical bottom. The same goes for U.S. stocks. When the market was buzzing, I opened small exploratory positions because I had already anticipated that the AI sector might adjust at any time. The subsequent trend validated this cautious approach. Including this year’s full-position losses that halved my portfolio, reviewing all this really makes me feel that investing isn’t that hard. Control your desires and greed, always stay rational, wait for the best opportunities to appear, and manage your positions to leave room for error. When the opportunity arises, you’ll still have funds, rationality, and courage.
