NEW: 🇮🇳 Police have arrested 18-year-old Rohit Virendrasinh Shakya, accused of helping orchestrate a ₹64 crore cyber fraud network. He learned Android app development using YouTube and AI tools. He then created 121 fake Android apps impersonating SBI, PNB, Axis Bank, PM-Kisan, BigBasket, RTO challan, and other services. The malicious apps were sold to cybercrime gangs via Telegram for around ₹15,000 per month. The fake apps were downloaded by 21,672 people, and 2,928 people fell victim, with the apps allegedly stealing OTPs, banking credentials, and other sensitive data. Police say the operation caused losses of over ₹64 crore.(Crypto India)
