[Analysis: Rising Demand for Options, Market Turns Bullish on Bitcoin]
According to BIT analysis, as demand for call options accelerates, the implied volatility of Bitcoin and Ethereum has both rebounded, indicating that the quiet summer trading period may be nearing its end. Recently, the market has seen several large call option trades. Meanwhile, Bitcoin's implied volatility, which previously fell from 44% to 31%, has now rebounded to 36%, further reflecting a warming bullish sentiment in the market.
Although August and September are typically seasonally weaker months, the rising demand for call options and the rebound in implied volatility may still provide some support for Bitcoin's price. At the beginning of summer, BIT leaned toward shorting volatility, anticipating the market would enter a consolidation phase. However, as options positions and overall market sentiment have both turned more positive, BIT adjusted this outlook last week.
