Odaily Planet Daily News: Driven by the overnight rally in U.S. tech stocks, South Korea's semiconductor sector surged sharply in early trading on the 22nd. As of 8:11 AM Beijing time, Samsung Electronics rose 5.79% to 274,000 KRW; SK Hynix surged 8.50%, briefly touching 2 million KRW, marking its first time reaching this level since July 15. In the overnight U.S. stock market, NVIDIA rose 1.97% due to its next-generation AI server platform Vera Rubin entering mass production and beginning shipments to major customers; Micron soared 12.17%, Broadcom rose 2.21%, driving the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index up by 5.21%. Additionally, SK Hynix ADR rose 13.75% overnight, closing at $171.94. In terms of capital flows, foreign investors are currently net buyers of 717.6 billion KRW in South Korea's electrical and electronics sector, while individual investors and institutional investors are net sellers of 370.6 billion KRW and 345.8 billion KRW, respectively.
