Odaily Planet Daily News – Bitmine Chairman and Fundstrat Co-founder Tom Lee stated that the relative performance of "AI downstream" related assets is continuously improving. Among them, Ethereum (ETH) has demonstrated significant excess returns compared to the DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) sector recently. Tom Lee disclosed data showing that over the past month, ETH's performance advantage relative to DRAM has expanded to 7200 basis points (72 percentage points). During the same period, ETH's price increased by approximately 24%, while DRAM-related ETFs fell by about 38%. Tom Lee believes that as investments in AI infrastructure gradually shift from chips and computing power supply chains to application layers and digital infrastructure, certain "AI downstream" assets are being repriced by the market. As a long-term advocate of the Ethereum ecosystem, Tom Lee has repeatedly emphasized that with the development of stablecoins, tokenized assets, and on-chain financial applications, Ethereum could become a critical component of the digital economy infrastructure in the AI era. This comparative data highlights the growing divergence in performance between crypto assets and the traditional AI hardware supply chain.
